From creating a comfortable environment by serving on our First Impressions Team, to leading the next generation to Jesus by serving in LifeKids or in our youth ministry SWITCH — we are all about leading people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. There are many ways to use your gifts and get involved in serving at Bloom!
The Dream Team
Everything that takes place to make a Sunday morning happen is done by the Dream Team! This team is all about one thing: serving God by serving others. If you desire a life filled with joy, growth and community, come join the Dream Team!
The Host(1st Impressions Team) is the face and details you first see between the parking lot and your seat. Greeting, welcoming, ushering guests to their seats, and pouring coffee, to name a few. This team’s responsibility is to create a comfortable and inspiring environment so our guests can relax and enjoy the worship experience! If you have an eye for detail or love people, this is the team for you!

Leading children to become fully devoted followers of Christ! If you love Jesus and children, we would LOVE to have you join the LikeKids Team! We use Lifechurch.tv resources that make for a fun and organized teaching experience! There are 2 different classrooms you can serve in.
The Garden (Babies – Pre-School)
Bloom Church believes in ministering to the needs of every age group, including our littlest members. Our goal is to plant seeds into our littles members, by creating an inviting, fun church environment where they can play and be introduced to a love for Jesus early on.
LifeKids Church (Kindergarten – Grade 5)
Kids love to learn, which is why our classrooms provide interactive learning experiences in a colourful and engaging atmosphere. The LifeKids Church experience features fun music, video teaching, and activities focused on the Bible and how it applies to our lives. Each week your children will learn:
- Every day, I can trust Jesus!
- Every day, I make choices that honour Jesus
- Every day, I reflect Jesus to others
- Every day, I am who Jesus says I am

Do you have a passion for music or technology? Our Worship & Tech Team works together to create powerful Sunday experiences that help people encounter God. Whether you’re a skilled musician, a vocalist, or someone who loves sound, lighting, or computers—there’s a place for you here! From stage to sound booth, every role plays an important part in leading our church in worship.

This team films our service for our online community. They also interact with our online community during the Live Stream so that we can connect and reach people far and wide. Connection is a vital part of reaching people with the love and hope of Jesus. If you are good with video and online platforms, or you would like to learn, this is the team for you!

Our Cleaning Team helps keep Bloom Church fresh, welcoming, and ready for every Sunday! The team meets once a week or every other week for about 1.5 hours—scheduled flexibly to fit your availability.

From Easter celebrations to Christmas décor, fundraising events, and special gatherings, this team brings creativity and care to every occasion. They help plan, decorate, set up, and create welcoming spaces where people can connect and celebrate together. If you love organizing, hosting, or adding those thoughtful touches that make events special, this is the team for you!

This team helps prepare and host two of the most meaningful moments in our church life—baptisms and communion. They ensure everything is ready and runs smoothly, from setup and supplies to supporting participants and serving during services. It’s a beautiful way to serve behind the scenes and help others encounter God in a personal way.
